La Salle County coronavirus update: Two new cases bring county total to 135

Another recovered and released from isolation

Two additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 were been reported in La Salle County on Saturday.

Two men — one in his 60s, the other in his 90s — were confirmed positive by the La Salle County Health Department, bringing the county's count of positive tests to 135. The newly diagnosed individuals are in isolation. Public health officials are working to identify individuals who were in contact with the cases.

Further information was not released by county health officials, citing federal privacy restrictions.

One additional case has recovered and has been released from isolation. The total number of recovered individuals for La Salle County is 73 out of the 135 total diagnosed cases.
