TONICA — At 7:34 p.m. Friday during the snowstorm, Tonica Volunteer Fire department was called out to a one-vehicle rollover accident on Interstate 39 south of the Tonica exit.
Oglesby ambulance was called to help due to an initial report of two people being injured. On arrival emergency personnel found one vehicle off of the roadway. There was no extrication needed. Two people were in the vehicle. After the victims were assessed for injuries by medical personnel, they refused transport to a Hospital, according to Tonica Fire Department. The state police investigated the accident.

Three people were hurt in a nearly head-on collision at 9:16 p.m. Tuesday on Route 251 south of Shooting Park Road, Peru police said.
Miguel Castaneda, 16, of 228 Fourth St., La Salle was treated and released from St. Margaret’s Hospital, Spring Valley, for injuries sustained after a motorist entered the oncoming lane, police said. The oncoming motorist, 69-year-old Emilia M. Garza of Alton, Texas and her passenger, 69-year-old Roman Garza, both were taken to Illinois Valley Community Hospital, Peru. The Garzas were transported to St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria. On Friday, Roman Garza was listed in good condition; the hospital did not have an admission record for Emilia Garza.
There were no charges.

Paul L. Nave, 49, of 2114 Rockwell Road, La Salle turned himself in to Peru police at 9:33 a.m. Wednesday on a La Salle County warrant for driving while suspended, Peru police said.

Adriana M. Oray, 26, of 1135 10th St., La Salle was charged with driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and operating vehicle when registration suspended for mandatory insurance violation at 8:26 a.m. Thursday at Raccuglia Drive and Chartres Street, La Salle police said.

Timothy Whalen, 49, of 737 Chapel St., Ottawa was charged with trespass at 10:21 a.m. Wednesday at 901 Grant St., La Salle police said.

Andrew Erschen, 22, of 657 N. Columbia Ave., Oglesby was picked up at 11:14 a.m. Thursday at 657 N. Columbia Ave. on a La Salle County warrant for failure to appear, Oglesby police said.

Raneesha H. Williams, 20, of 2946 N. 40th St., Milwaukee, Wis., was charged with driving while suspended at 10:36 p.m. Thursday at East Fourth Road and North 25th Road, Oglesby police said.

Allysa J. Haupt, 25, of 220 E. Walnut St., Oglesby was charged with domestic battery Friday at 12:51 a.m. at 220 E. Walnut St., Oglesby police said.
PRINCETON — Andre Venson, 36, of 7325 S. Damen Ave., Chicago was charged with driving with a suspended or revoked license at 11:55 a.m. Thursday at 22 W. Park Ave., according to Bureau County Sheriff’s Department.

John S. Cheli, 19, of 1703 N. 2479th Road, Ottawa was picked up at 6:06 p.m. Wednesday in his residence on a La Salle County warrant for violating an order of protection, La Salle County Sheriff’s Office said.

Todd Kingen, 36, of 1570 N. 30th Road, Ottawa was charged with domestic battery at 8:12 p.m. Wednesday in his residence, La Salle County Sheriff’s Office said.

Hugo Garcia, 38, of 605 Ninth Ave., Mendota was charged with no valid driver’s license at 6:14 p.m. Tuesday at Casey’s General Store, Mendota police said.
A passenger in the vehicle, Mayra H. Cordoba, 39, also of 605 Ninth Ave., Mendota, was picked up on a failure to appear warrant, police said.

John S. Cheli, 19, of 1703 N. 2479th Road, Ottawa was picked up at 6:06 p.m. Wednesday at his residence on a La Salle County warrant for violation of an order of protection, according to La Salle County Sheriff’s Office.

Brianna Majercin, 23, of 113 W. Washington St., Streator was picked up at 8:10 a.m. Tuesday at Chicago and Burns streets on La Salle and Bureau county warrants, Streator police said.

Bonnie Bartlett, 24, of 1017 E. 12th St., Streator was charged with driving while suspended and possession of cannabis in a motor vehicle at 9:25 a.m. Tuesday at 712 Iowa Ave., Streator police said.

Michael Clay, 42, of 509 W. Morrrell St., Streator was charged with driving while revoked at 8:13 a.m. Wednesday at East Stanton and North Park streets, Streator police said.

Jonathan Crow, 25, 1406 S. Illinois St., Streator was charged with driving while suspended at 2:33 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of East Larue Street, Streator police said.
