Challenger in U.S. Rep. race plans town hall series

Says Kinzinger stopped having them

PRINCETON — Dani Brzozowski of La Salle, Democratic candidate for Congress in Illinois 16th district, says she will hold a series of town hall events throughout the district, starting in Princeton on Jan. 30.
The event in Princeton will take place at Princeton Public Library in the Matson meeting room, located at 698 E. Peru St., Princeton.
Brzozowski will answer questions from audience members. Attendees can either ask their questions live or write their questions down to have them asked by a moderator.
Brzozowski says U.S. Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) “has not held a town hall in over two years, and even before that he rarely held them. That’s a little shocking, considering that when he first ran for Congress in 2010 he consistently brought up that his opponent rarely did town halls.”
