The report of Ms. Cattani’s recent trip to Uganda brought a wave of emotion over me.
I feel shameful, knowing there are people who live with the barest minimums, content with their lives and so grateful for the gifts they receive from those in our country of bounty.
It isn’t that I’m not aware these circumstances exist; they are just a reminder that I often take for granted that I live comfortably in a country with so many resources. Yet, I complain about so much. I am not alone; some live feeling there is never enough.
This story made me want to be more mindful, thankful, AND especially MORE GIVING.
