The IVCC baseball team had three players recognized by the Arrowhead Conference and NJCAA Division III Region IV as the all-conference and all-region teams were recently announced.
La Salle-Peru graduate Kyle Christman, Mendota alumnus Paxton Kennedy and Sullivan Stuckann were selected to the Arrowhead All-Conference Team.
Stuckann made the All-Region IV First Team as an outfielder, while Christman made the second team as a designated hitter.
Willis earns All-American honors
Mendota alumna and Carthage Conference junior Elizabeth Willis earned All-American honors during Day 2 of the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship, which took place at the end of May.
Willis finished fourth in the shot put with a career best throw of 14.31 meters (46 foot, 9 1/2 inches) earning her first All-American nod.
