Lenore H. Camenisch, 96, formerly of La Salle, died Oct. 12, 2009, in East Troy Manor Nursing Home, East Troy, Wis.
Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Saturday in Hurst Funeral Home, La Salle, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 1 p.m. in St. Valentine Church, Peru. The Rev. William Gardner will officiate. Burial will be at St. Vincent Cemetery, La Salle.
Visitation will be 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
Mrs. Camenisch was born Feb. 4, 1913, in Toluca to Larry and Lucile (Ryan) McGonigal. She married John D. Camenisch on Sept. 3, 1934, in Chicago.
She worked at Electric Utilities Co. in La Salle until retiring in 1979.
Survivors are one daughter, Maribeth (Richard) Ballerini of East Troy; two sons, Thomas E. (Kaye) Camenisch of Tucson, Ariz., and James F. (Cheryl) Camenisch of Pennington, Minn.; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Aug. 5, 1980; one son, David Camenisch; one daughter, Judith Cosgrove; three grandchildren; and two sisters.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Camenisch, Rich Ballerini, Brian Camenisch, Eric Trunk, Nathan Lijewski and David Foster.
