Henry C. Coble, 75, of DePue passed away June 9, 2019, after a brief illness. He was at home surrounded by his loving family. Per Henry’s request there will be no services.
He was born May 7, 1944, and lived in DePue his entire life. On May 12, 1962, he married his beloved wife of 57 years, Dorothy Henderson. Together they raised three daughters: Melissa, Holly, and Cherie.
Henry worked at Champion Pneumatic and was a maintenance supervisor for Ralston Purina. He retired as Head of Maintenance from DePue Unit School after 25 years of devoted service.
Henry was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed woodworking and created many pieces which he shared with his family. He was happiest on his hillside enjoying yardwork with his wife and watching his grandchildren play.
He will forever be missed by his wife; daughters, Melissa (Brian) Ishee and Cherie (Sean) Sandberg; and his grandchildren, Dylan (Stephanie), Broedy, Lilliana and Lillyahna.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Holly; his parents; and many sisters and brothers.
Memorials may be directed to the First Congregation Church of DePue.
