MENDOTA — Police are seeking Robert Bradley Trask, 29, formerly of Rome, Pa., in connection with the Aug. 4 shooting in the 700 block of Jefferson Street.

Warrants for unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon and reckless discharge of a firearm, both felonies, have been issued by the La Salle County State’s Attorney’s office, according to the Mendota police.

It is believed Trask fled to North Dakota following the shooting. No one was injured during the shooting, but bullets did strike a building in downtown Mendota.
