OTTAWA — Sheridan Correctional Center will host a “Celebration of Champions” 3-11 p.m. Saturday at the Knights of Columbus, Ottawa. All proceeds will go to The Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics.

Tickets are $20 for guests 15 and older and $5 for 14 and under. Tickets include a fried chicken dinner and, for adults with ID, free draft beer while supplies last.

Children’s activities will be 3-5 p.m. and include a magician, face painting, crafts, games, raffles and more.

A euchre tournament ($10 per person) begins at 4 p.m. Dinner will be served 5-7 p.m., followed by a DJ and dancing 7-11 p.m.

Silent auction and raffle items include an overnight stay and dining credit at Harrah’s Casino in Joliet, donations from the White Sox, Bulls, Bears, gift certificates and goods from numerous local businesses and much more.
