PRINCETON — Ryan M. Buck, 27, of Spring Valley was sentenced to 6 years in prison for possession of heroin with intent to sell, a Class X felony punishable by 6-30 years in prison.

Buck was sentenced by Judge Marc Bernabei as a result of a June 5 incident in which he sold heroin to an agent from Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Team. During a subsequent search of his residence agents found a backpack with Buck’s identification card and multiple individually wrapped baggies of heroin.

Buck was prosecuted by First Assistant State’s Attorney Thomas Briddick and represented by Public Defender Mick Henneberry.
