Sponsored by Reps For Rescues and LP CrossFit, the public is invited to a Parking Lot Pawty with rescue dogs available for adoption at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17 at the north end of Peru Mall.
During the event, attendees of all fitness levels will also have the opportunity to learn more about CrossFit by watching or participating in workouts. Food will be available for purchase and proceeds from the food tickets will benefit Reps For Rescues, a nonprofit organization dedicated to bettering the lives of companion animals and those who care for them.
Supplies collected will be contributed to the Illinois Valley Animal Rescue.
