In separate instances, three people were picked up Jan. 21 on La Salle County warrants for heroin-related charges.

Brandon L. McLaurin, 19, of Chicago was picked up on a warrant for delivery of a controlled substance (heroin), a Class 2 felony. He is in the Cook County Jail with bond set at $500,000.

Jeremy D. Charbonneau, 29, formerly of 507. E. Main St., Ottawa, was picked up on a warrant charging him with two counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (heroin), a Class 2 felony. He is in the La Salle County Jail with bond set at $500,000.

Katie E. Fought, 28, of 1228 Kansas St., Ottawa, was picked up on a warrant for two counts of delivery of a controlled substance (heroin) a Class 2 felony. She is in the La Salle County Jail with bond set at $500,000.

All warrants were issued after investigations in which the suspects are accused of selling heroin to people working for Ottawa Police Detectives.

Class 2 felonies have a base sentencing range of 3-7 years in prison.
