A La Salle County grand jury convened Tuesday and returned the following indictments:
Thirty young welders competed in the Second Annual Welding Competition hosted by Illinois Valley Community College and the American Welding Society (AWS) on Saturday, April 13.
“If I’m being totally honest, I was about 50/50, but then after speaking with [Chief Sarah Raymond], I think this is a need,” Mayor Ken Kolowski said. “It’s needed for the city of Peru for the safety of our citizens and for our officers.”
