SUPPORT GROUPS

AA of Mendota: The Mendota Group of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meets Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 10 a.m. at 812 ½ Washington St. (upper level, enter on west side). Meetings are anonymous, free, and open to anyone who has a desire to stop drink-ing, or anyone wishing to avoid both alcohol and any other substance.

Adult Grief Group: 9-10 a.m. Saturday, May 25, at St. Margaret’s Hospital, Spring Valley. The group meets the second Thursday of each month from 6-7 p.m. and the fourth Saturday of each month from 9-10 a.m.

Alzheimer’s Support Group: 1 p.m., Thursday, May 21, in conference room at Liberty Village of Princeton, 140 N. Sixth St. The group, which meets the third Thursday of each month, provides education, socialization and emotional support for people who have loved ones with a memory care disease. All are welcome.
