Gamma Phi offers Grant-in-Aid

Gamma Phi chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma International is seeking applicants for a $2,000 Grant-in-Aid scholarship. This scholarship opportunity is open to any female full-time student who is attending an Illinois college or university, is an Illinois resident and will have completed three semesters of college work by Feb. 1.

Omicron chapter promotes two plans

Omicron chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International is offering two grants to young women planning to study or studying in the field of education.

The Omicron Recruitment Grant for $775 is available to a high school senior girl currently attending a high school in Grundy, La Salle or Putnam counties. The applicant must be planning to enter the field of education at an accredited college or university in Illinois and rank in the upper 25 percent of her high school graduating class with a recommended GPA of 3.5 and above. The application is due to Omicron chapter by Jan. 2. The winner of this local grant will have her application submitted to (Illinois) Lambda State where she will compete for an additional $750 state grant.
