La Salle-Peru Township High School principal Stephanie Jeanblanc announced 28 students have been named Illinois State Scholars for the 2018-2019 school year. The full list of Illinois State Scholars from L-P is: Skylar Arwood, Alexander Bollis, Alan Bruner, Paige Bunzell, Sarah Camp, Drezdan Dale, Jalen Depenbrock, Emma Ebener, Mary Jagiella, Anna Jereb, Georgia Kapetaneas, Hailey Kofoid, Mary Kupperschmid, Hannah Lynch, Grace McCormick, Yoginiben Patel, Nena Perry, Cole Phillips, Jacob Pocivasek, Rylee Reed, Makayla Reese, Joshua Sensiba, Liam Shaw, Raven Stevens, Rachel Whaley, Max Williams, Alexandra Wren, and Jake Zeman. Bruner and Ebener (pictured below) were further recognized as Commended Scholars for their academic performance on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®).
