Fear of the future is seeping into main stream thought again. President Obama’s message of hope and “Yes We Can” mantra allayed my fear of economic catastrophe for awhile; but a nagging worry that worse lies ahead again gnaws at me and many others.

La Salle City Council on Monday approved an ordinance allowing a pallet-manufacturing business at Chartres and Canal streets to store materials outside as long as the materials are stored neatly and don’t take up more than 50 percent of the premises.

Established by National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation in 2001, the program is designed for senior level broadcast radio and television managers seeking to advance their management careers and enhance their knowledge of all aspects of radio and television broadcasting.
