The East 30th Road/North La Salle Road bridge over Interstate 80 at the La Salle and Grundy counties line will be temporarily closed.

OSF HealthCare announced an update to the OSF Occupational Health services available in the Interstate 80 market.

The city of La Salle’s former public works building at 500 Second St. is up for auction, the city announced Wednesday.

Take a look inside the former La Salle Public Works building on Second and Wright streets in La Salle. The 18,000 square foot building and parking lot now is on the market. The two-story, brick building was the site where the city housed its vehicles and other storage items. It served as a former car dealership and armory during the Korean War. The building is appraised at $256,500.
