The Methodist churches will host a Red Cross Community Blood Drive from 1 to 6 p.m. Monday, April 22, at Goldasich Hall in the McNabb Fire Department, 391 N. Route 89.
The Illinois Department of Transportation is working on the Route 251 bridge over the Illinois River in Peru. IDOT work will include washing the bridge and all of the structural steel, top surface of piers and abutments, deck drains and the deck surface. The work will be conducted during the day, with traffic being reduced to one lane and controlled by flaggers. The project is scheduled to wrap up in early May.
