Nathan M. Tucker, 27, of Peru died unexpectedly, Sept. 8, 2019, at his home.
Visitation for Nathan will be 4-7 p.m. Friday in Barto Funeral Home, Spring Valley, with funeral services starting at 7 p.m., officiated by Pastor Kevin Hancock of Crossbridge Community Church. Cremation will be accorded following services.
Nathan was born Oct. 1, 1991, in Spring Valley to Michael Tucker and Desa Raley.
He was a graduate of Hall High School, class of 2010. While at Hall, he played football, where he wore #3. He also participated in track and baseball. He won numerous awards in both football and track. Nathan liked to hunt and fish, and he enjoyed playing his video games. He loved animals, especially his cats.
Nathan is survived by his mother, Desa Raley, of Peru; his father and stepmother, Michael and Tina Tucker of Spring Valley; his stepbrother, Charlie Albert, of Spring Valley; uncles, Cody and Luke Raley, Tim Tucker, Chuck Raley, Rick Raley, and Paul Raley; aunt, Pam Raley; and numerous great-aunts and great-uncles. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Duke and Lynnie Raley; and his paternal grandparents, Sam and Janet Tucker.
Memorials in Nathan’s name may be directed to Illinois Valley Animal Rescue or to his family.
